Varun Naidu (Nagesh Kukunoor) is now happily married for six years, Happily
did we say?He has everything on the proverbial Indian checklist - a great job, a
great wife also with a great job, a good social life and".no kids, Ashwini
(Ashwini Oogra) , his wife & reason for leaving his American life behind,
decides that it is now time to strike that item off the list! When she meets
with great resistance from Varun, who doesn't want to let go of his boyish ways,
she decides to try anything, which includes learning from Shashi aunty, the
techniques necessary to seduce her man, In this endeavor, she is aided by her
best friend Seema (Elahe Hiptoola) , who now runs a marriage bureau, IMF
(Instant Marriage Fixation). Seema's husband Sanjeev (Vikram Inamdar),Varun's
friend, clueless as always, offers perfectly useless advice to alleviate his
problems.
In this already chaotic atmosphere, enters a vivacious, no strings attached
Menaka (Tisca Chopra) as Varun's new floor manager at the call center
he owns. Attraction is imminent leading to further complications in the already
strained relationship between Varun and Ashwini. Through this marital upheaval,
Varun and Ashwini are supported by their faithful friends who acts as their
respective sounding boards and dispensers of unlimited free advice.
This film, like its predecessor, treats life and its mundane everyday situations
in a lighter vein that echoes its most catchy line - Dil pe mat Le yaar...
HYDERABAD BLUES2 : Rearranged Marriage, is a hilarious slice of middle class
Indian life, which rekindles the ability inus to laugh at ourselves.
