TEZAAB…The Acid of Love, is a story of a woman, who, despite having all
creature comforts under her laps, emotional needs gets sidelined and neglected
because of today’s fast and busy living.
Neha, the protagonist, is a home maker and leading a happy family life with
Shekhar a senior and top executive in a hospitality industry. This couple has a
school-going bright and loving son, Chintoo.
One fine day, accidentally, Neha comes across a young and handsome man, Rahul.
He lures her with unique charm. Neha, though cautious of her social, martial and
moral boundaries, gets mesmerized with his magical spell of joviality and skill
in handling her emotional needs and as such making her forget the emptiness in
her life.
This love or liaison, whatever it is, developes into a rampant obsession for
each other and because of this Neha’s husband and son are sidelined and
neglected. This leads Shekhar to suspicion, and all the hell breaks out to burn
everything like the acid does, the acid of love.
