Balu Shastri (Arshad Warsi) is a street-wise cabbie whose life is turned
upside down when he picks up a young customer at the airport. This is Rahul (Chandrachur
Singh), a poor little rich boy, who’s an orphan, returning to India after
several years. Rahul is the heir to untold millions left by his dead parents,
but life holds no meaning for him. Bored and restless, he is intrigued by the
interesting life that Balu seems to be leading and he persuades Balu to trade
places with him. Balu agrees and Rahul goes to live in Balu’s house and meets
Parvati (Priya Gill), Balu’s sister. Love blooms between them. Meanwhile, Balu
who pretends to be the young millionaire Rahul goes to work in the family firm
and begins to uncover the shenanigans of the manager, who’s been lining his own
nest for years. Things get complicated when Balu falls madly in love with the
crooked manager’s pretty daughter, Pooja (Simran)…. This breezy entertainer
features four young debutants in the lead and is directed by Joy Augustine.
Music by Viju Shah includes the chartbusters ‘Aankh Mare’ and ‘ Kuch Mere Dile
