Ajay Khanna (Mithun Chakraborty), a press photographer, falls in love with
Preeti (Padmini Kolhapure), the only daughter of a millionarie, Bhanu Pratap
(Danny Denzongpa). Her father frowns upon the match but as she insists, the
marriage goes through. In due course, Preeti has a child and goes to her
mother's to have the baby. Bhanu Pratap takes the child to an orphanage and
declares that Preeti had delivered a dead child. Ajay however gets hold of the
child and leaves for Kashmir. Preeti goes half mad with grief. Years pass but
Preeti is unable to get out of the depression she feels. She is taken to Kashmir
for a change of scenery. There she meets her husband and child and all
misgivings and misunderstandings are clarified before they unite. |
