Mumbai Matinee is the magical love story of a 32 year old virgin.
Debashish(Debu) Chatterjee, 32 an adman by profession is beset with a strange
problem. He is still a virgin.
Debu's state of virginal bliss has assumed very serious proportions and is now
threatening to take over his entire life. He needs to find a cure to his
problem. And he needs to find it quick.
An ecstatic Debu turns up at Hotel Piccadilly from where the Baba operates. At
the hotel, Debu accidently bumps into Nitin Kapoor, a small time filmmaker with
big dreams. Kapoor and Debu get along instantly.
The Baba on his part is a colourful if somewhat weird character. He gives Debu a
bottle of strange coloured pills, assuring him that everything will be all right
in a week's time.
A week passes and in a colourful set of circumstances, Debu, Mumbai's oldest
virgin, metamorphoses into India's biggest pornstar! Without his knowledge
ofcourse.
Welcome to the mad, mad world of Mumbai Matinee. Complete with our own
residential tantrik Baba, the enchanting film producer Nitin Kapoor, the
gorgeous temptress Anusha, the charming journalist Sonali Verma and ofcourse,
Mr.Virgin himself, Debashish Chatterjee, bewildered by his own stardom!
