A shy guy (Tusshar Kapoor making his debut) and a gorgeous girl (Kareena Kapoor) are the lead pair in this youthful, light-hearted entertainer. He is too bashful to reveal his feelings; she has plans to get a college degree at Harvard. When her plans come through, he is devastated, because he realizes that she sees him only as a good friend. Ultimately, true love wins.

This tender love-story, laced with fun-filled moments, was inspired by the Telugu superhit Tholi Prema. The movie also features Rinke Khanna playing Tusshar’s elder sister. A powerful supporting cast includes Amrish Puri, Dalip Tahil and Alok Nath among others. A chartbusting soundtrack from Anu Malik includes ‘Rabba Mere Rabba’, ‘Maine Koi Jaadoo Nahin Kiya’ and the melodious title song ‘Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai’.
