Located at high-altitude mountain ravines, Zhonabad is an area which is frequently used by infiltrators. Lala (Tinu Verma), an influential and respected man in the region, has Albaksh (Arbaaz Khan) as his henchman. Unknown to Albaksh, Lala plans to help infiltrators into the country to unleash a reign of terror. Captain Sonia (Tabu), a military intelligence officer, learns of Lala's nefarious plans and notifies military authorities, who send Major Pratap Singh (Sunny Deol) to keep an eye on Lala.

When Albaksh learns about his boss's plans and opposes him, he is portrayed as a traitor and the police arrest him. Major Pratap meets Albaksh and when he finds that there isn't enough time for the Indian Army to reach Zhonabad, Major Pratap decides to fight the infilrators with the help of the villagers...

Based on the Kargil war, this patriotic film is packed with stunts and action sequences and is directed by fight-director Tinnu Verma. The sweeping, nationalistic film, shot in Kulu-Manali, co-stars Tabu and has Malaika Arora making a friendly appearance. Music is scored by Sajid – Wajid and includes Alka Yagnik’s soft number ‘Chhod Ke Na Jaa O Piya’ and the rousing bhangra beats of Sonu Nigam’s ‘Dekhne Ko Tujhe’.
