love to each other. Karan (Fardeen Khan) is born in Calcutta while Khushi (Kareena
Kapoor) is born in Chamoli, a village in Gadhwal, UP. Inspite of this distance
between two they are destined to meet. How they both get together? - One can say
its a miracle of God.
Karan wants to go Canada for further studies - but due to an accident that takes
place he is forced to continue his studies in Mumbai University, by his father (Navin
Nischol). Khushi's father (Amrish Puri) believes that for a girl the education
that she has received is enough and now she should stay with him and mary a boy
who is ready to be his son-in-law (Ghrajamai). But Khushi insists on pursuing
her education in Mumbai University. At the University Karan has a friend called
Vicky and Khushi's friend is Priya.
While Vicky is an orphan Priya is the daughter of an underworld Don. Vicky and
Priya love one another but their love appears doomed. Karan and Khushi decide to
help Vicky and Priya come together. In this process while helping Vicky and
Priya, Karan and Khushi come close to one another. But they keep fighting with
each other on the smallest of issues. It is these fights that ignite and
strengthen their love for one another. This they realise when the time comes for
both of them to go their separate ways. Both make desperate efforts to meet one
another.
But do they succeed in meeting each other? Do Karan & Khushi become one? The
answers to these questions will be found in the film Khushi!
