The story revolves around a hilariously cranky control freak, Kamal Kishore
Khosla (Anupam Kher) who thinks he has life worked out for himself and everybody
else! Khosla is obsessed about procuring a plot of land (being cheekily referred
to as ‘ghosla’ meaning ‘nest’) in Delhi, which is his sole occupation and
preoccupation!
This is a plot of land for which he has been saving up for years. A plot on
which he wants to build his house and live with his children and future
grandchildren in bliss! But after he acquires the land, he realizes that the
plot has been acquired by a charmingly wicked land-shark (Boman Irani) who won’t
give it back till Khosla has coughed up a fat sum of money!
The already strained family almost breaks up at this new bolt from the blue!
Khosla tries various hair-brained, ineffectual ploys to extricate his plot but
in vain. Just when he is about to resign to his fate, his life takes a turn when
he finds out that the most unexpected people have hatched a crazy and thrilling
plan to bail him out of crisis!
Are these people for real?
Can Khosla trust them?
Will they give his life a new meaning?
And most importantly, will Khosla get back his ghosla?!
Khosla Ka Ghosla is a rip-roaring comedy, which also explores a welter of
emotions, culminating in the reinstatement of a polarized father-son
relationship.
