A sheperd boy Gopi and Anand meet at Advocate Narayan Prasad Verma's house.
They are astonished when they see each other because of the striking resemblence
between them. Neelkant-the Chairman acts as though he is a nice person, but he
is involved in anti-social activities. His daughter Indu is a pampered and a
short tempered girl. His son Kasturi hates his father's attitude.
One day, when Gopi was sheperding the cows, the cows stood in the way of Indu's
car. She scolds him and beats the animals. In return, Gopi beats her. When
Neelkant tells his men to kill Gopi, Kasturi saves Gopi.
At Narayan Prasad's house, he is waiting for Anand. When Gopi shows up, they
mistake him for Anand. Gopi and his daughter Shobha fall in love with each
other. When Anand comes, Gopi realizes the situation and says that he is
leaving. However, Anand makes him stay.
Indu, who has been looking for Gopi, sees Anand and makes fun of him.
Eventually, they fall in love also.
Now, Narayan Prasad realizes that Gopi is not really Anand. He tells Anand that
he must marry his daughter Shobha. Anand says that he loves Indu. Then, Narayan
Prasad reveals that Neelkant had murdered Anand's father. Anand vows revenge on
Neelkant.
