Sapna (Amisha Patel) is a girl who’s completely dominated by her father Dholakia (Kiran Kumar) and hot-headed brother (Mukesh Tiwari) both of whom are underworld Dons. Rohit (Hrithik Roshan) saves Sapna from an attack by her father's rivals and connives to meet her again. With the help of his friends, he joins the band that is to perform at her house during the Navarathri festival. Over the nine days of the festival, they fall in love. Trouble erupts when her father and brother get wind of their relationship and armed guards are deployed to keep an eye on Sapna and track her every movement.
