Azaad is a story of a happy-go-lucky man Ashok (Dharmendra).
But the disappearance of his elder brother, a police officer for several months
forces Ashok to give up his carefree ways and go in search of his brother.
During this quest he meets Seema (Hema Malini) - a confrontation which later
turns to love. The plot thickens when his own boss Ajit Singh (Ajit) tries to
make Ashok appear insane when he saves Thakur Sahib (Madan Puri) from a fire.
Will Ashok find his brother? Will he figure out Ajit Singh's game plan and why
