Supari is a modern day drama set in Mumbai. This is a story of greed,
ambition, power and deceit. Four best friends namely Aryan, Papad, Mushir and
Chicken end up owing a sum of Indian Rupees 500,000 to Mamta Sekhri, a women
involved in various underworld activities. The friends are forced by Mamta to
killing for money which is better known as Supari within the underworld in
India. Soon the friends see these killings are not just a way of repaying Mamta
Sekhri's debt but also the means of realizing their unfulfilled dreams and vent
for their frustrations. The middle class family background and unambitious
attitude of their fathers is the source of their frustration. But things begin
to change when they realize that in this game of Supar, they are not just
hunters but also the hunted. It is a small turf for which many like them are
fighting. On this realization two of the friends Papad and Mushir take the path
of further gore, whereas Aryan realizes the importance of the life and chooses
to go on his own way. This makes friends ino enemies. |
