Ravi (Amitabh Bachchan) is the eldest of a wild clan of seven brothers, each
named after a day of the week, who collectively run a farm. Ravi marries the
nurse Indu (Hema Malini). Her arrival into their lives leads to a disciplining
of the entire family. The remaining brothers in turn fall for each of the six
companions of the heiress Seema (Ranjeeta). In order to usurp her wealth,
Seema's guardian Ranjit Singh (Amjad Khan), hires the notorious Babu (Amitabh
Bachchan) to kill her. The villains kidnap Ravi, allowing Babu to impersonate
him in order to assassinate Seema. However, Babu is reformed by the large family
and in the end falls in love with the heiress.
